We are looking for a proactive and innovative statistical analyst to join our dynamic and fast-paced team as an Outcomes Analyst. The successful candidate will play a key role in understanding the impact of education activities developed across the business as well as being able to support with the development, understanding and communications of the outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  •  Convene with the wider team on the initiation of a project and to communicate and understand the specific needs for each project
  • Liaise with external partners who provide the raw data for analysis
  • Carry out the data analysis for Moore’s levels 3 and 4 outcomes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Produce, schedule and manage outcomes reports to a high standard
  • Ensure the analysis conducted is understandable to the layperson
  • Work with the Medical and Education teams to interpret the “why?” behind the numbers
  • Manage your own time effectively and record within our time management system
  • Provide support to the educational development team when the outcomes are presented back to the supporter
  • Have the confidence to present and justify your analysis to a wide range of audiences
  • Review and develop existing protocols for outcomes analysis where appropriate

 

Experience and Skills:

  •  Educated to degree level or equivalent in the sciences (preferably biological sciences) with demonstrated implementation of statistical analysis at this level
  • Advanced skills using a statistical software package is crucial – SPSS would be advantageous
  • Advanced skills required in Microsoft suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be highly numerate and analytically minded
  • Disciplined to organise oneself to work alone and as part of a remote team
  • Good English grammar and spelling
  • An innovative thinker who can identify the next steps to advance their work
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate individuals with varying degrees of experience in statistical analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once, in a high-pressure environment
  • A basic understanding of Moore’s levels of outcomes would be beneficial but is not required
