Not only do the Touch company values and employment policies reflect our commitment to equality and diversity, but we actively promote discourse and challenges around the topic. In Touch team discussions, we recognised the bravery of two pioneering activists: Marsha P Johnson and Sylvia Rivera who both played a key role in the Stonewall riots, in June 1969. The weekend of rioting is widely acknowledged as the birthplace of the modern gay liberation movement. It was the first-time gay communities fought back against the regular police raids on the city\u2019s gay bars and clubs. Without the fightback of these activists, it is likely that gay liberation would have evolved at a much slower pace.
