In early 2019 we were delighted to launch our full product suite for touchIME and TMC. The design of our educational activities ensures that as many HCPs as possible are able to easily access the content in a format that makes it easy for them to absorb information – in a way that suits them, when it suits them, on a device that suits them.

We announced the acquisition and relaunch of Heart International, a leading cardiology journal, as part of the touchCARDIO journal portfolio – and we also strengthened our strategic partnership with Interventional Academy, owner of the Complex Cardiovascular Catheter Therapeutics (C3) Global Summit.

In 2017 we were delighted that touchENDOCRINOLOGY journal European Endocrinology, was accepted for indexing on PubMed and PubMed Central which increased the exposure of content from this excellent journal.

Launching Touch Medical Communications Ltd enabled us to develop our work in creating effective multichannel medical communications, which are sponsored by the pharmaceutical industry.

A digital leap forward
New websites launched
Taking a digital leap forward, in 2014 we redesigned all our therapy area websites, introducing features developed with the busy HCP in mind. These initiatives ensured that our HCP community was able to benefit from highly relevant content in their specialty, in a format designed for mobile optimisation.We also made the decision to develop rich media assets with a specific focus on video.

We are constantly working to develop valuable media partnerships with the most respected not-for-profit medical societies both in Europe and the US. In 2013 we signed our first agreements with key partners enabling us to promote awareness of their work while also providing open access, peer-reviewed articles, and multimedia content to their members.

Formed world class editorial team
As the company developed, so there was a need for new talent to be brought onboard. The world class editorial team which has been assembled over the years has its humble beginnings in the very early days of Touch Medical Media.
Touch Medical Media (TMM) was formed in 2012, following an asset purchase from Touch Briefings
The focus from print to online education began here, where the company specialized in several key medical therapy areas where we believed our education could make the biggest impact to patient health.
It was also in 2012 that TMM pioneered a totally work from home setup, allowing attraction of the best talent – not limited by geography.
With this, came a specialism in remote filmed education, putting TMM in an extremely strong position with the paradigm shift in recent times to online education and remote working.
Touch Briefings was established in 1997
Touch Briefings was established as a medically focused, peer-reviewed, free-to-access, print publisher.
